Click for original image LISA MARIE SCHWAB Lisa Marie Schwab, age 36, a 1-1/2-year resident of Ft. Mohave, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from a grand mal seizure in Phoenix, Ariz. Lisa was born October 29, 1976 in Redwood City, Calif. to Steven M. and Sheri Herzog Schwab. Lisa led a very accomplished life. She attended public schools in Rexburg, Idaho, graduated from the University of Utah and received a master’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago, Ill. She worked for various hospitals in Chicago, Ill., Kansas City, Mo., and Las Vegas, Nev. as an Intake Assessment and Psychological Trauma Evaluator. Lisa was also affiliated with various civic and community service organizations. Lisa was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lisa is survived by her parents, Steven M. and Sheri Herzog Schwab of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; grandparents, Moroni A. and Ila May Schwab of Bountiful, Utah and St. Charles, Idaho; brothers, Mark (Brittney) Schwab of Bountiful, Utah, Travis (Andrea) Schwab of Rexburg, Idaho, Scott (Chandi) Schwab of Lehi, Utah, and Kurt (Lacey) Schwab of Moscow, Idaho; sister, Dyan (Trenton) Vallace of Clearfield, Utah; and 12 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at St. Charles Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 75 N. Main St., St. Charles, Idaho. PETER F. DWYER Peter F. Dwyer, age 68, a former mayor and longtime resident of Needles, Calif., passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Ellenton, Fla. He born in Boston, Mass. on October 18, 1944. He lived in Needles from 1978 until 2009, when he moved after the death of his wife, Sue O’Dell Dwyer. They were the parents of one son, Martin F. Dwyer. Peter was employed as a nurse anesthetist and worked at Needles Desert Communities Hospital for many years. He served on several city committees and was elected to the Needles City Council and later served as mayor for four terms. He also attended St. Ann Catholic Church and enjoyed singing in the choir there. Funeral services will be held today, Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, 2020 J Street, Needles, Calif. DANIEL JOSEPH WILLIAMS Daniel Joseph "Willy" Williams, age 55, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Mohave Valley, Ariz. He was born May 29, 1957 in Kokomo, Ind. and was a talented motorcycle enthusiast who proudly served in the United States Navy on a submarine from 1975 to 1979. Daniel is survived by his daughter, Ashley; step-son, Christopher; mother, Marilyn; sister, Vernda; and one granddaughter. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) MASONRY SERVICES FOR BLOCK WALL CONSTRUCTION Aha Macav Housing Entity (AMHE), a tribally designated housing entity of the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe, requests written proposals from qualified Masonry firms for the construction of block walls and iron gates for seventy-one (71) home located in the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe CA village in Needles CA. The block walls will be constructed in Sections beginning with Section 1 on the CA village map.
